Welcome to Hirst Courtney

Hirst Courtney lies in the district of Selby. Located between Selby and Goole, Hirst Courtney is about 4 miles from the A19. It's a peaceful village which comprises of approximately 60 houses, a school, a cricket pitch and a pub. The village manages to combine being a thriving local community as well as an excellent choice for a peaceful retreat. The Royal Oak Inn is located in the centre of our village, it has been the location of many a village function and continues to serve food and beers to a high standard. The village also has it's own park, rebuilt in 2005.
